A photo session to donate to funds for reproductive and healthcare rights of women

The Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe vs. Wade has been a historic step backwards in terms of gender equality and equity. Like many others, I have been angered by this particular ruling and shocked by how political party lines are now even more evident in Supreme Court rulings.

But this is so much more than our anger and the politics of this country. This decision will have devastating consequences to the lives of many women and their families. Michelle Obama expresses her thoughts in beautiful, compassionate and kind words here in her Instagram post.

This is a wake up call and it is time to action. At Pictures for A Cause, I am offering matching donations, up to $250 for each photo session and up to $1500 total for all sessions booked until end of July 2022. You will have an option to donate to one of the following organizations or an organization of your choice that provides necessary resources for women's reproductive health and their right to choose.

• The United State of Women

• Planned Parenthood

• UNFPA, the United Nations sexual and reproductive health agency

• MSI - Reproductive Choices

If you are in Southern California counties of Los Angeles, Orange County or San Diego county, I encourage you to book a photo session with Pictures for A Cause and donate to one of these organizations in return. If you know someone in these counties who would like to get a photo session done, please encourage them to reach out to us. You may also gift a photo session to your friends or family.
